NYSE and Blockchain.com explore selling tokenized US stocks

The New York Stock Exchange and Blockchain.com will explore selling crypto versions of US-listed stocks. Blockchain.com announced the partnership in a press release on Wednesday. Tokenization creates blockchain-based tokens that represent or are pegged to assets such as stocks and bonds. The partnership is the latest example of a mainstream stock exchange exploring tokenization.
