Bitwise launches automated token portfolios for Magnificent 7, AI and robotics

Bitwise launched Automated Token Portfolios for eligible non-U.S. users in supported jurisdictions. The portfolios automatically replicate and rebalance professionally designed portfolios of Coinbase's tokenized U.S. stocks. Users keep the tokenized stocks in self-custody in their own wallets. Bitwise Investment Manager designs the published, rules-based model portfolios. Coinbase's tokenized stocks power the portfolios. Glider implements the portfolios. The initial themes include the Magnificent 7 and SpaceX. Other themes include robotics and artificial intelligence leaders. The methodology access fee is 0.15%. Trading and platform fees are excluded from that fee. Bitwise said the tokenized stocks remain in investors' non-custodial wallets at all times. Users do not need to move the assets into a pooled fund or transfer custody to a fund manager. Investors may be able to lend or borrow against the tokens on decentralized finance protocols, subject to applicable risks. Bitwise is a $9 billion crypto asset manager. Bitwise partnered with Morpho in January to expand its onchain offerings with curated, non-custodial vaults. Bitwise launched seven professionally constructed crypto portfolios for financial advisers in February. Those portfolios included systematic monitoring and rebalancing. Bitwise made its crypto model portfolios available to retail investors through Parrot's platform in the summer. Matt Hougan, Bitwise's chief investment officer, said the portfolios let users keep assets in their own wallets instead of placing them in a fund. Brian Huang, Glider's co-founder and chief executive, said onchain infrastructure gives global investors access to opportunities unavailable through a traditional brokerage account.
