Secret Network mints 1.079 billion SCRT before support cutoff

Secret Network recorded a one-time mint of 1.079 billion SCRT through the v1.26.0-community-continuance upgrade. The upgrade ran at block 26,790,327 after Proposal 365 passed. The live secret-4 node later reported software version 1.26.0 and reached block 26,806,270. The continuance plan allocated 299 million SCRT to the foundation. Core-development programs received 299 million SCRT. The ecosystem fund received 178 million SCRT. Advisors received 72 million SCRT. Research and development received 72 million SCRT. Validators received 72 million SCRT. Builders and relayers received 43 million SCRT. Remediation received 44 million SCRT. The plan made 308.4 million SCRT liquid on day one and set ongoing inflation at 5%. Existing holders kept their absolute balances, but their collective share fell to roughly one quarter of the total supply. A later bank-supply response showed 1.44346 billion SCRT. SCRT Labs said development and related support would end on Sept. 1. Continued operation depends on validators maintaining enough staking power and community backers assuming the technical workload. Voters rejected Proposal 360, so its proposed Arbitrum snapshot terms did not receive an on-chain community mandate.
