$930.04 million in crypto bets liquidated as Bitcoin tops $86,000

CoinGlass says $930.04 million in leveraged crypto bets were liquidated over the last 24 hours. Bitcoin shorts accounted for $454.95 million of the liquidations, while Bitcoin longs accounted for $52.96 million. Ethereum shorts accounted for $172.68 million, and Ethereum longs accounted for $28.61 million. More than 131,000 traders were forced out. The largest single close was an $11.29 million Bitcoin position on Binance. Bitcoin was trading at $86,038 at the time of publishing, up 5.5% over the last 24 hours.
