Bitget pauses withdrawals after $350 million hack

Bitget temporarily suspended customer withdrawals after crypto worth approximately $351.6 million was stolen in a hack. Bitget noticed unauthorized transfers from some wallets on Thursday. CEO Gracy Chen said all user funds were safe. Chen said Bitget covered the loss with its own funds. Chen said withdrawals remained suspended as a security precaution rather than because of a fund shortfall. Bitget says it has more than 120 million users.
